Herbal Cauldron Splash

Lemon Balm Splash - Day 1
The sight of a Witch with a cauldron set ablaze can be a magickal and mesmerizing thing.  And the best part is that they are very simple to create.

Ingredients:
  • Surgical Alcohol aka rubbing alcohol
  • Herbs of your choice
  • Sealed containers

    Procedure:

    Cauldron Splashes - Day 4
Separate the leaves/flowers from the stems of the herbs and add them to your container.  For my splashes, I used Chocolate Mint, Lavendar, Rosemary and Lemon Balm (each in a separate container - not all together LOL).  Cover the herbs with the alcohol, filling the container as full as possible.  Seal and shake.  Place the jars in a location where they will not be disturbed.  Twice a day - every sun-rise and moon-rise - gently shake the jar to assist with the infusion.  Continue for 13 days.  Strain the herbs from the alcohol and add a drop of food colouring if desired.  Your splash is now ready for use.

    To Use:

Pour or place (using a pipette) some of the liquid into your cauldron.  Drop a lit match into the cauldron & your cauldron will dance with flames.
